Do you remember how during college most of us spent alot of time typing out our girl scout song books. I remember using the time I was monitoring the computer lab to get everything typed up and printed out from the hand written versions I had up until then. Plus paper at school was free...
Well as of today I can not find both my hard copy nor my electronic version of my song book and I was looking. I think I know where the hard copy is - I can visualize the box its in. I just have not seen that box in awhile (that is what 2 moves in 2 years will do to you). As for the electronic copy - I know it was saved on a computer at one point in time. Which computer is anyone's question. And if it survived various hard drive crashes is the question. I also had a copy on a floppy disc - finding that disc is going to be challenge. The lucky thing is I still have a computer with a floppy disc drive - if that drive works is a questions.
Well cleaning the office today I did find my old computer box with a small box full of discs - none of them labeled. I also found an old lap top from where Patty worked a couple jobs ago, a bunch of dos information and a ream of paper. So I think I know what I'm going to be doing for the next couple of days - going thru discs. Why do I hang onto junk?
