So tell me, if a fire truck was driving slowly down your street wouldn't you get up to see what was going on being curious neighbors and all?
Well I went to get up to see what was going on - but I forgot about the glass of Strawberry Kool Aide I had sitting on the floor in front of the couch (the coffee table is just too far away to work as a good beverage holder). So what did I do?
Knocked over a full glass of Strawberry Kool Aide all over the floor!!
So I spent the next hour on my hands and knees getting it out of the carpet. Used a whole bunch of dish towel before Chris got me some of the garage towels to sop up what I could. Then according to a couple web sites you take really cold water and re-wet the area and then sop that up with towels as well.
You can't tell today that I spilled on the carpet except the carpet is a bit stiffer than normal but I think that will come out as we walk on it and vacuum a couple times.
